Cantina Tollo Aldiano Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Sparkling apricots and pineapple cascade fromPitch black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted black and Morello cherry aromas intermix with liquorice, scorched earth and spicy dried herbs. Adorning the palate are rich black cherry and liquorice flavours with a base of stern chewy tannins. Elements of scorched earth, subtle dried herbs and spicy pepper are also evident. Good acidity finishing with a tight chewy aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, scorched earth and spicy pepper.
